In September ’26, I had the incredible honor of participating in the Orlando Mural Festival 2026 as one of eight selected large-wall muralists.

As part of the festival, I had the opportunity to work specifically with Thornton Park District, transforming a wall, located outside Lambs Eat Ivy salon and Thornton Park Pub, with a large-scale mural over the full week of the event.

My mural, “Fanciful Foliage,” celebrates the vibrant plant life of Central Florida through a bold and playful collection of tropical greenery. Featuring bird of paradise, caladiums, succulents, palms, and other familiar foliage, the design transforms local botanical inspiration into a colorful composition that highlights the beauty, variety, and energy of Florida’s natural landscape.

Being part of the festival was both an honor and an inspiring experience. Over the course of the week, I had the opportunity to connect with fellow artists, engage with the community, and contribute a new piece of public art to Thornton Park. The experience was a meaningful reminder of how public art can celebrate a neighborhood’s unique character while creating colorful, shared spaces for the community.
