Parking Spaces For Pride - Se7enbites Orlando

On September 15, I had the joy of participating in Se7enBites Bakery’s Parking Spaces for Pride event!

In a symbolic act of protest against the targeted removal of the rainbow sidewalk outside Pulse Nightclub, 49 artists, including myself, came together to paint individual parking spot murals, all within a single day.

As an Orlando native, mural artist, and longtime supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, this project held deep personal meaning for me. While it was heartbreaking to learn that this public art, and 16 other murals in Downtown Orlando, was later painted over, I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of such a powerful, community-centered event.

Collaborating with fellow artists and the Se7enBites team to create something beautiful, meaningful, and inclusive in just one day was an experience I will always cherish.
